UCLA women to play in Sacramento March Madness game. How to get tickets
As the Women’s March Madness wraps up its second round of games, half of the remaining college teams are headed to the Golden State’s capital city.
The third and fourth rounds of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, and at the Golden 1 Center in downtown Sacramento this weekend.
This will be the first time in 16 years that Sacramento will be the backdrop for games in the college basketball tournament, The Bee previously reported.
“Being able to host the Sweet 16 (and) the Elite Eight bodes really well for the next time we go for the women’s Final Four,” Visit Sacramento CEO Mike Testa previously told The Bee.
