Final Injury Report for 76ers-Celtics Game 1: Will Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid Play?
The Boston Celtics are at home on Sunday afternoon as they host the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 1 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
Boston enters Sunday's game as the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference after ending the regular season with a 56-26 record following a victory at home over the Orlando Magic last Sunday.
In last Sunday's victory over the Magic, Baylor Scheierman led the way for the Celtics as he recorded 30 points, seven rebounds and seven assists while Luka Garza added 17 points and 12 rebounds of his own.
Now Boston will try to use home court to their advantage on Sunday as they try to grab a key victory over the 76ers to take a 1-0 series lead.
On the other side, Philadelphia enters Sunday's contest as the No. 7 seed in the East after defeating the Magic at home on Wednesday night in the Play-In Tournament.
Tyrese Maxey led the way for the 76ers in Wednesday's victory as he ended the game with 31 points and six assists while V.J. Edgecombe recorded 19 points and 11 rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Game 1 of their first-round series on Sunday, both squads may be without some of their key players due to injuries.
76ers Injury Report: Will Joel Embiid Play?
For the 76ers, they have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out star center Joel Embiid.
Philadelphia has ruled out Embiid due to post appendectomy surgery recovery as he will miss his fifth consecutive contest and there is still no timetable for his return.

Celtics Injury Report: Will Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown Play?
On the other side, the Celtics enter Game 1 with a clean injury report as they have nobody listed on it.
Of course, Boston elected to sit most of their rotation, including Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Derrick White, in the final game of the regular season but they are all off the injury report and will return on Sunday.
