Gisele Bundchen Makes Rare Comment About Her 'Quiet' Past Life In Boston

Gisele Bundchen has done a new interview where she revealed some interesting new details about life in Boston during her early years with Tom Brady.

In an interview with W Magazine, Bundchen recalled the changes that she made in her life upon moving to Boston in the late-2000s. She said she was living a "much quieter life" at the time and was focused on "achievement and saying yes to every opportunity."

"I had moved to Boston and was living a much quieter life," Bündchen told the outlet. "Earlier in my career, everything was about achievement and saying yes to every opportunity."

Saying yes to everything certainly served her well. She got movie roles, TV roles, countless brand deals and by 2009 was widely acknowledged as the most powerful person in all of fashion and her yearly earnings reflected it. It was a very common joke in the early-2010s that Bundchen was earning more money per year than Brady was.

Bundchen said that over time she felt it was more important to find balance and achieved that through spiritual practice and being present.

"Over time, I began to understand the importance of finding balance," she continued. "My spiritual practice helped me become more present and more connected to myself. Instead of focusing on external expectations, I started paying attention to how I felt internally."

Bundchen and Brady

During their marriage, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen had two children together and frequently appeared as a high-profile power couple, balancing Brady's NFL career with Bündchen's status as one of the world's highest-paid models. Throughout Brady's championship runs with the New England Patriots and then with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Bündchen was a visible supporter of his career.

Over time, reports emerged of tensions related to Brady's football commitments and retirement decisions. After Brady initially retired following the 2021 season and then reversed course to continue playing, media speculation about strain in the marriage intensified. In October 2022, Brady and Bündchen announced that they had finalized their divorce after 13 years of marriage. Both stated that the separation was amicable and focused on co-parenting their children.
