Developments no one expected a quarter of the way through the NFL season:

▪ The Bengals’ Andy Dalton has thrown for more yardage than Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

▪ The Cardinals’ Larry Fitzgerald is on pace for a career-best 1,728 after three consecutive seasons with fewer than 1,000 receiving yards.

▪ Rookies Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston are outperforming the 49ers’ Colin Kaepernick .

▪ The Eagles are being outscored by 21 other teams.

▪ The Raiders are three points shy of a 3-1 record, but are 2-2 for only the second time since 2008.
