In case you missed them, here are some teachable moments from the last seven days:

▪ The Titans and Jaguars are difficult to watch no matter what color uniforms they wear.

▪ Defense is mostly optional in the Big 12 Conference.

▪ The race is to the fastest, not necessarily the guy who has announced his retirement.

▪ The Warriors will lose eventually, but eventually hasn’t happened yet.

▪ Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and a good way to be penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct in the NFL.
