The Hornets’ Kemba Walker scores 21 of his game-high 39 points in the fourth quarter, and he adds four more in overtime as Charlotte overcomes a 22-point deficit and hands the Kings a 127-122 loss.

Kings notes: Lineup juggling continues

The starting lineup coach George Karl threw at the Charlotte Hornets on Monday has been used four times this season. The Kings have had 11 starting lineups in 15 games. A tough schedule and injuries complicate Karl’s decision making.

49ers: Kap, Dorsey headed for surgery; former Sac State QB added to practice squad

Former starting quarterback Colin Kaepernick will have surgery on his non-throwing shoulder Tuesday, and defensive lineman Glenn Dorsey will have surgery following his season-ending knee injury Sunday. Former Sacramento State quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson was added to the 49ers’ practice squad on Monday. Bethel-Thompson had stints with the 49ers in 2011 and 2013.
