Sports Night: 49ers coach Tomsula fired despite win in season finale

49ers: Rough season ends with ovetime win over Rams

For the second consecutive season, the 49ers parted ways with their coach after a win in the finale. This time it was Jim Tomsula, who was told after the team’s 19-16 overtime win over the visiting St. Louis Rams that he will not get a second season at the helm.

Raiders: Woodson’s final game is a loss to Chiefs

Charles Woodson walked off the field one last time, his sterling career coming to an end exactly where it began 18 years ago, in Kansas City with the Raiders. With the same result, too. Derek Carr was sacked a career-high six times in a 23-17 loss to the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

Kings: Team seeks consistency on trip
