Boston beats San Francisco, others to bid for 2024 Summer Olympics

The United States Olympic Committee on Thursday chose Boston as the America city to compete internationally to host the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Boston was chosen over San Francisco, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.
