Sports Night: Ryan Anderson lights up Kings
Kings: No Anthony Davis, no problem for Pelicans
Ryan Anderson (Oak Ridge High School) scores a game-high 36 points, 30 in the first half, as the undermanned New Orleans Pelicans knock off the Kings 114-105 Thursday night at Smoothie King Center. Sacramento’s losing streak grows to three games.
Kings: Coaches name Cousins an All-Star
DeMarcus Cousins, as many expected, is named an All-Star reserve, becoming the first King to earn back-to-back All-Star selections since Peja Stojakovic (2003-04). What’s more surprising is that he’s also going to compete in the Skills Challenge, usually reserved for guards.
