Kings: Cousins does his part for ‘bigs’

The NBA has become a little man’s game. Yet the Kings’ DeMarcus Cousins is one center who has dribbling, passing and three-point shooting abilities – talents not previously expected of big men. He is one of four frontcourt players who will participate in the Skills Challenge (5 p.m. Saturday, TNT), which is part of NBA All-Star Weekend festivities.

Hometown Report: Anderson grieves for compassionate soul

Former Oak Ridge High School star Ryan Anderson, now a forward with the New Orleans Pelicans, says Ingrid Williams “will always have a special place in my heart.” Williams, the wife of former Pelicans assistant coach and current Oklahoma City assistant Monty Williams, was killed Tuesday in an automobile wreck. The couple helped Anderson through the dark aftermath of his girlfriend’s suicide in 2013.
