49ers’ NaVorro Bowman honored on NFL Network’s Top 100 list
Last year, no San Francisco 49ers players made the NFL Network’s Top 100 Players list.
In 2016, the 49ers will not be shut out. Linebacker NaVorro Bowman was introduced at No. 61.
Honored to be voted for by my teammates and peers. Looking forward to having a #MON5T3R year. pic.twitter.com/sguRkiwPdF

Bowman, who missed all of the 2014-15 season with a knee injury sustained an NFC title game loss to Seattle, returned in a big way last year. He played all 16 games, led the NFL with 154 combined tackles (116 solo, also a league high) and had 2.5 sacks en route to his third Pro Bowl selection.
This year’s list kicked off with Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, who was No. 100. The network is halfway done with announcements. Each week, 10 more players are profiled.
Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt was last year’s top player.
