The Kings’ DeMarcus Cousins was officially named to the 12-man U.S. Olympic team. Cousins had been told June 10 he would be on the squad. He and DeAndre Jordan of the Clippers are the only centers on the team.

A’s outfielder Josh Reddick has been out since May 20 because of a broken left thumb. Reliever Sergio Romo last pitched for the Giants on April 10. Both could return soon.
