College football: Stanford picked to win Pac-12
Stanford was picked Thursday to win the Pacific-12 Conference football championship this season by the media. It’s the first time the Cardinal has landed this distinction in the 56-year history of the preseason poll.
Kings: Quincy Acy leaves for Dallas
The Mavericks sign forward Quincy Acy to a two-year veteran minimum contract. Seth Curry, another new Mavericks player who happened to be a teammate of Acy’s last season with the Kings, used his Twitter account to tweet out: “We back bro! Ayeeee.”
