The Sacramento State women’s soccer team scored five goals in the second half to beat North Dakota 5-0 in Grand Forks, N.D., according to the Hornets’ website.
Josie Jogwe, Alexa Heinzer, Presley Strother, Adaurie Dayak and Kristen Bridges all scored for the Hornets (7-9-0, 2-5-2 Big Sky Conference). It was the fifth shutout of the year for goalie Kimberly Mata. Bridges leads the team with three goals.
North Dakota (1-11-1, 0-6-0) has been outscored 36-6 this season.

UC Davis’ Betty Chen shot a par 71 in the first round of the Stanford Intercollegiate golf tournament, and the Aggies find themselves in 12th place after the first round, according to the UCD website.
UCD (291) trails 11th-place Cal by one. UCLA (279) leads, with Stanford (282) tied for second with Northwestern. San Jose State (286) is tied for sixth.
Chen is tied for 17th. The Aggies’ Paige Lee and Andrea Wong (73) are tied for 45th. Blair Lewis shot a 74 and is tied for 59th, while Alexandra Zeng shot 83 and is tied for 88th.
UCD tops Fullerton
Kaylin Squyres (Whitney High School) had a career-high 25 kills and a career-high 20 digs to lead UCD to a five-set volleyball win over Cal State Fullerton in Fullerton, according to the Aggies’ website.
The Aggies (9-9, 4-1 Big West Conference) beat the Titans (6-13, 0-6) 25-20, 20-25, 25-16, 21-25, 15-13.
