Video: Stanford cruises past Browning-less Washington
Behind another strong game from Christian McCaffrey, No. 10 Stanford had little trouble beating Washington 31-14 on Saturday night in Stanford.
The sophomore running back ran for 109 yards and a touchdown for the Cardinal (6-1, 5-0 Pac-12). McCaffrey also had five receptions for 112 yards and a score, and amassed 79 yards on three kick returns.
Jake Browning, the Folsom High graduate who’s starting for the Huskies (3-1, 1-3) as a freshman, did not play. The right-handed quarterback injured his throwing shoulder in Washington’s loss to Oregon last week.
