The UC Davis women blew a 12-point second-half lead in an 89-75 loss to host San Jose State on Wednesday night, the Aggies reported.
UCD led 68-56 with 8:17 to play. But the Aggies went scoreless for 41/2 minutes, during which the Spartans (5-4) scored 18 points to take control.
Sydnee Fipps scored 22 points, and Alyson Doherty had 22 points and 11 rebounds for UCD (4-5).
Fipps made all five of her three-point attempts in the first half. But she missed all nine of her attempts from beyond the arc in the second half.

Rebecca Woodberry had 16 points and 12 rebounds to lead San Jose State.
