Video: Stanford’s McCaffrey builds Heisman consideration
Stanford sophomore Christian McCaffrey is making sure he’s in the running for the Heisman Trophy.
The Cardinal running back set a school record with 389 all-purpose yards in a 35-22 victory over Cal in the Big Game on Saturday night in Stanford.
McCaffrey has a real shot to break the all-time mark of 3,250 set in 1988 by Oklahoma State’s Barry Sanders, who won the Heisman Trophy.
