8 spots to watch World Cup final between Argentina and Spain around Sacramento
After a month of international unity and rivalry over soccer, the FIFA World Cup is coming to an end this Sunday.
Spain — which has not reached the World Cup final since its championship-winning run in 2010 — and reigning champion Argentina will face off for the tournament title at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey this weekend, and Sacramento-area venues are preparing to host hordes of fans clad in red and light blue kits to take in the action.
Food and drink specials, huge screens and passionate fan bases will mark Sacramento-area parties for Sunday’s match, which kicks off at noon Pacific time.
Those looking to celebrate the closing match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup with other capital region fans can do so at numerous spots, including these eight restaurants, bars and other businesses.
Where to watch the FIFA World Cup Final in Sacramento
La Kalle Nightclub
Location: 908 15th St., Sacramento
A popular Latin nightclub in Mansion Flats is opening its doors in the daylight to watch the final World Cup game with capital region soccer fans.
Attendees will be treated to $25 beer buckets and a three-for-$10 taco deal Sunday morning, as they watch the match on 10 TVs and a giant video wall around the nightclub.
Doors for the watch party will open at 11 a.m. According to its Instagram page, the club will not charge a cover fee, but VIP tables are available only with advance reservations.
Movement Brewing
Location: 11151 Trade Center Drive, Suite 104, Rancho Cordova
The Rancho Cordova brewery will be the unofficial Argentina watch party for one final game this year, as the Buenos Aires Grill food truck is slated to serve empanadas, choripan and other Argentinian delicacies on Sunday.
House brews and other drinks on the menu will fuel the South American fans as their team seeks a second championship in a row, which would be its fourth overall.
Movement Brewing’s ample seating space with numerous TVs opens at noon on Sundays, and the brewery has not said whether it will open early for the match.
Woodstock’s Pizza
Location: 238 G St., Davis
At this college town pizzeria, the bartenders are all-in on celebrating the World Cup, with a drinking game featuring discounted shooters.
Any time certain events happen during the game, such as a goal scored or a red card issued, guests have a limited window of time to order specialty shots at a discounted price, from $7 down to $5.
The pizzeria and bar opens at 11 a.m. Sunday, and reservations are already mostly taken, according to a representative from the restaurant. Walk-ins will be accepted as space allows.
Super Taco Mexican
Location: 7131 Franklin Blvd, south Sacramento
The Mexican restaurant near Florin Road is turning up with a Sunday morning soccer party, featuring drink specials and live music.
Guests can enjoy beer buckets for $30 and signature Cadillac margaritas throughout the match, while local DJ Adam Aldama plays a live set throughout the morning and afternoon. Loaded nachos and fries, burritos, tacos and other Mexican cuisine favorites are on the eatery’s menu.
Super Taco’s watch party starts at 10 a.m. and continues past the final whistle until 6 p.m., according to its Instagram. Reservations are not required, but the restaurant recommends them.
The Trax Kitchen and Bar
Location: 400 Vernon St., Roseville and 400 Lincoln Blvd., Lincoln
Both locations of The Trax, a grill and beer garden, will show the final World Cup face-off between Spain and Argentina.
Guests can enjoy local brews and locomotive-themed classic bar bites, like the Trax-a-Dilla spinach quesadilla and Conductor Sliders, while watching the soccer match.
The Roseville location opens at 11 a.m. on Sundays, and the Lincoln outpost opens at noon. The Lincoln bar has not said whether it will open early to accommodate match viewers.
Muslim Community of Folsom
Location: 104 Woodmere Road, Folsom
At the Islamic community center’s events space in Folsom, everyone is welcome to join together to watch the world’s game on Sunday afternoon.
The organization encourages attendees to bring snacks to share among viewers, according to an Instagram post. It did not say as of Thursday whether its event space would open early for game attendees.
Garden at the Line
Location: 6415 Elvas Ave., Sacramento
As one of the top locations for watch parties throughout the monthlong World Cup tournament, the East Sacramento beer garden is hosting one last bash in partnership with the team behind the upcoming Dova Arena in Rancho Cordova.
Activities kick off bright and early at 9 a.m., with pickup games at the bar’s street soccer setup in the parking lot throughout the morning. A “special guest” DJ will play music throughout the morning and afternoon, according to an Instagram post by the soccer arena team.
Food from the adjacent The Line kitchens, which include La Sabrocita, Kru and Nash & Proper, will be available for order, as well as beer, wine and other beverages from the Garden’s bar. RSVPing on the arena’s website is recommended.
Birdies Social
Location: 805 Riverfront St., West Sacramento
Just across the river from Sacramento, the indoor golf bar is transforming into a soccer fan space for one final game this year.
Brunch and cocktails — including the recently crowned best margarita in Sacramento — are available throughout the morning and afternoon as the World Cup match plays on “wall-to-wall” TV screens.
Doors for the last watch party open at 10 a.m. Sunday, and reservations are still available online. Walk-ins are also accepted, and the bar encourages attendees to arrive early for prime seating.
