The California Highway Patrol is reminding motorists of road closures in effect for the U.S. Senior Open underway at Del Paso Country Club in the Arden Arcade area.

Tournament events began Monday and run through Sunday. The golf event has prompted closures of Marconi Avenue to through traffic. Four lanes of Marconi, from Lacy Lane to Watt Avenue, are closed. One eastbound lane is open for resident traffic only, according to the CHP.

Also closed to all but resident traffic are Morse Avenue from Pope Avenue to Marconi, and Pope Avenue from Morse to Watt.

All residents directly affected by the closures will receive hanging tags to access their streets.
