Video: Seth Curry’s golf ball hits fan, costs him a signed golf glove (but all is good)

Seth Curry is good at three-pointers on the basketball court. Perhaps, he should work on his ‘fores’ on the golf course.

During Friday’s celebrity golf tournament on the shores of Lake Tahoe, the Dallas Mavericks sharpshooter hit an errant second shot out of the rough on the Par 5 fourth hole at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course guard. The ball struck a fan on the shoulder. The fan is OK.

“Hey, Seth, I saved you,” said Duane Newberry of Brentwood, California. “You got me right on the shoulder, but you’re good, brother. It’s all good.”

“Sorry about that,” Curry, brother of Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry, said as he approached his lie and shook hands with Newberry.

“I’ll take an autographed ball if you got one,” the fan suggested to Curry.

Curry went to his golf bag, and instead gave him a white signed glove.

“Swings like that, I need all the balls,” he joked.

The Bee’s Chris Biderman is covering the golf tournament and took video of the exchange.

The American Century Championship features some big sports names teeing off, from Charles Barkley and Tony Romo to Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams.
