Voting ends at noon Friday, March 27. The Bee will select its own players of the year in addition to the fans’ vote.

Teagan Brown, Oak Ridge: Led storied Trojans past McClatchy in Section D-I semifinals.

Mia Fleming-Mullins, St. Francis: Led Troubadours back to the postseason as leading scorer.

Charity Gallegos, Folsom: Fast climbing the school’s all-time scoring/assists record lists.

Jzaniya Harriel, Antelope: Bee Player of the Year in 2018-19, she led area’s top team.

Anne Lillis, Placer: MVP of the Foothill Valley League as Hillgals’ top scorer.

Ali McDonald, Union Mine: Overcame injuries to produce another memorable season.

Gabby Rones, West Campus: A four-year starter who won two section, two CIF state titles.

Bria Shine, Christian Brothers: Went 3-1 in Section championship games.

Madison Parry, Del Oro: Program’s all-time rebounder as a relentless leader.

Maile Williams, Capital Christian: Four-year starter who led Cougars in scoring last two years.

Ahrray Young, Laguna Creek: Driving force behind a rising-fast program.

He was in early 2024 named the National Sports Media Association Sports Writer of the Year for California and he was in the fall of 2024 inducted into the California High School Football Hall of Fame. He is a 14-time award winner from the California Prep Sports Writer Association. In 2021, he was honored with the CIF Distinguished Service award. He is a member of the California Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Davidson participated in football and track in Oregon.
