See parents of former Folsom TE Josiah Deguara celebrate his first NFL touchdown

If you missed former Folsom Bulldogs tight end Josiah Deguara scoring his first NFL touchdown, just know that his parents celebrated enough for all of us.

Video posted by Scott Hagan on Twitter shows the family whooping and hollering in delight in the stands as Deguara caught a pass in the end zone from Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

“Great moment for former Folsom Bulldog Josiah Deguara -scored his 1st NFL TD as a Packers against the Vikings. Josiah’s parents from Sacramento were our guests today,” Hagan wrote in the Tweet with the video.

The play was extra sweet because Deguara played only two games as a rookie in 2020 before sustaining a season-ending knee injury. Before being drafted by the Packers in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Deguara chalked up 1,117 receiving yards at the University of Cincinnati. He grabbed 92 career receptions for the Bearcats, the most in school history by a tight end.
