Bee’s Best: Granite Bay’s Savannah Schwarze wins girls’ soccer MVP poll
Granite Bay High School senior Savannah Schwarze won the girls’ soccer MVP fan poll. She won the poll with over 73,000 votes and 43% of the total vote.
Schwarze this season helped lead her team to appearances in the Division ll Sac-Joaquin Section championship game as well as the Division-ll Northern California Regional championship game. She led Granite Bay in total points (25) and goals (11) and also added three assists. Schwarze during the fall signed her letter of intent to play at Saint Mary’s College in Moraga.
Pioneer’s Gali Bolivar, who helped lead her team to a section championship win, finished second in the poll with 69,000 votes and received 41% of the total vote. McClatchy’s Susie Long finished third in the fan voting.
