Prep football: 40-plus Sacramento-area high school players who had big games last week

Here’s a peek at some of the best high school football performances last week from the Sacramento area.

Luke Alexander, Grant: Passed for 220 yards and five TDs in an 82-0 win over Kennedy.

Joseph Barrientos, Monterey Trail: Passed for two TDs and ran for one in a 35-17 win over Merced.

Kerry Braggs III, Del Campo: Caught eight passes for 143 yards and two TDs in a 43-36 loss to Capital Christian.

Michael Brown, Cordova: Had two sacks and rushed for a TD in a 49-7 win over Florin.

Xavier Butler, Yuba City: Caught a TD pass, had six tackles and returned an interception for a score in a 30-22 win over Bella Vista.

Mason Cartwright, Sutter: Had 16 tackles in a 19-14 loss to Twelve Bridges.

Nathan Crawford, Twelve Bridges: Rushed for 135 yards on 34 carries in a 19-14 win over Sutter.

Liam Crossen, Nevada Union: Passed for 243 yards and three TDs in a 35-28 loss to Placer.

Landon Dahler, Pioneer: Rushed for 195 yards on 36 carries in a 17-13 win over Dixon.

Kayden Flemming, Jesuit: Rushed seven times for 105 yards and two TDs in a 35-14 win over Cosumnes Oaks.

Brody Fortunati, Vacaville: Passed for 265 yards and three TDs in a 27-17 win over Fairfield.

Devin Green, Grant: Rushed three times for 55 yards and two scores, caught two passes for TDs and had 10 tackles against Kennedy.

Ethan Jones, Vista del Lago: Rushed for three TDs in a 41-15 win over Rio Americano.

Camden King, Vista del Lago: Had two interceptions, giving him six on the season, in a 41-15 win over Rio Americano.

Isaiah Ene, Granite Bay: Rushed for 104 yards and a TD and returned an interception 70 yards for a TD against Oak Ridge.

Jackson Hanan, West Park: Passed for 299 yards and six TDs in a 41-14 win over Ponderosa.

Markus Hoffman, Oak Ridge: Had five tackles for loss to set a defensive tone in a 25-14 win over Granite Bay.

Dante Jacobs, Monterey Trail: Had 14 tackles in a 35-17 win over Merced.

Shaun Jones, Placer: Rushed for 205 yards and a TD in a 35-28 win over Nevada Union.

Baylor Kelley, Placer: Rushed for 205 yards and four TDs in a 35-28 win over Nevada Union.

Thomas Koi, Elk Grove: Rushed for 139 yards in a 34-3 win over Pleasant Grove.

Brody Krupp, Woodcreek: Had 13 tackles in a 44-3 win over Antelope.

Paul Lanier IV, Natomas: Had 16 tackles in a 30-6 win over Valley.

Jaycion Leblanc, Highlands: Had six tackles and two interceptions, returning one 75 yards for a TD in a 32-14 win over Golden Sierra.

Zayden Learson, Sheldon: Rushed for 115 yards and two TDs and had seven tackles in a 20-0 win over Davis.

Ryder Lyons, Folsom: Passed for 267 yards and five TDs in a 63-19 win over Whitney.

Nate Martin, Rocklin: Had three catches for 131 yards and two TDs in a 35-14 win over Del Oro.

Joaquin Graves-Mercado, Oak Ridge: Passed for 274 yards and two TDs in a 25-14 win over Granite Bay.

Kalani McLeod, Vanden: Passed for 290 yards and four TDs in a 47-14 win over Wood.

Gavin Molloy, Oak Ridge: Had 10 tackles, three for loss, in a win over Granite Bay.

Laron James-Radcliffe, Sacramento: Accounted for five TDs in a 52-0 win over El Camino.

Brian Ray III, Folsom: Had six catches for 107 yards and three TDs in a 63-19 win over Whitney.

Henri Reed, Lindhurst: Rushed nine times for 119 yards and five TDs in a 38-7 win over Riverbank.

Angel Reyna, Del Campo: Passed for 288 yards and four TDs in a 43-36 loss to Capital Christian.

Damian Rickert, Bella Vista: Rushed for a TD, had 121 yards receiving and a score, returned a kickoff for a TD and had 15 tackles against Yuba City.

Gabe Sanchez, Woodland Christian: Passed for 191 yards and four TDs in a 63-8 win over Delta.

Antonio Seastrunk, Esparto: Rushed 27 times for 282 yards and six TDs in a 62-33 win over San Juan.

Ryan Sisson, West Park: Caught three passes for 102 yards and two TDs against Ponderosa.

Reeve Slone, Rocklin: Passed for 247 yards and three TDs in a 35-14 win over Del Oro.

Dennis Syders, Marysville: Had an 80-yard TD catch, rushed for 66 yards and a score and had three tackles in a 22-18 win over Wheatland.

Malakai Taione, Capital Christian: Rushed 22 times for 236 yards and five TDs in a 43-36 win over Del Campo.

Jayden Tinker, Union Mine: Rushed for 283 yards and four TDs in a 28-14 win over Rosemont.

Tyler Villa, El Dorado: Rushed for 131 yards and two TDs in a 35-14 win over Galt.
