Prep football: 40-plus Sacramento-area high school players who had big games last week

Here is a peek at some of the top high school football performances from the Sacramento area last week:

Diego Bautista, Woodland: Rushed 11 times for 119 yards and a TD in a 16-6 win over Rio Linda for the Wolves’ first win.

Joel Bradley, Roseville: Had five catches for 141 yards and two TDs, including a 76-yarder against Inderkum.

Connor Campbell, Casa Roble: Passed for 310 yards and TDs to five different receivers in a 53-0 win over Pioneer.

Josiah Campbell, Christian Brothers: Had eight tackles, five for loss, in a 49-0 win over El Camino.

Michael Cherry, Rosemont: Rushed for 219 yards and two TDs in a 30-13 win over El Dorado.

Lono Chouteau, Inderkum: Caught four passes for 127 yards and three TDs in a 55-16 win over Roseville.

Cassidy Cole, Antelope: Had three catches and two TDs in a 42-12 win over River Valley.

Ricky Cole, Inderkum: Passed for 274 yards and five TDs against Roseville.

AJ Campos, Esparto: Freshman rushed nine times for 146 yards and three TDs in a 51-22 win over Vacaville Christian.

Gabe Castro, Johnson: Had seven tackles and two sacks in a 47-0 win over Florin.

Davon Chism, Monterey Trail: Had 10 tackles in a 35-34 win over Grant.

Nathan Crawford, Twelve Bridges: Rushed 19 times for 347 yards and five TDs in a 36-21 win over Colfax.

Mikey Cunningham, Rocklin: Had 12 tackles in a 43-35 win over Granite Bay.

Morgan De Lago, Vacaville: Rushed eight times for 100 yards and two TDs in a 44-0 win over Armijo.

Bodey Eelkema, Nevada Union: Rushed 14 times for 141 yards and a TD and had four tackles in a 45-7 win over Oakmont.

Christian Harris, Inderkum: Had 10 tackles, a sack and an interception against Roseville.

Markus Hoffman, Oak Ridge: Had 10 tackles, including three sacks, in a 35-9 win over Whitney.

Carter Jackson, Granite Bay: Rushed for 98 yards and two TDs and had eight tackles against Rocklin.

Shaun Jones, Placer: Rushed 35 times for 222 yards and two TDs in a 35-21 win over West Park.

Derek Keeley, Rocklin: Rushed for 72 yards, caught a TD and had 14 tackles in a win over Granite Bay.

Danny Kirkpatrick, Inderkum: Had 13 tackles in a win over Roseville.

Trace Kloss, Rio Americano: Rushed for both touchdowns in a 14-7 win over Del Campo.

Ryder Lyons, Folsom: Accounted for eight touchdowns in a 61-21 win over Del Oro.

Gavin McAllister, Delta: Passed for three TDs on just six attempts in a 41-0 win over Western Sierra.

Jaylen Melvin, Natomas: Passed for 235 yards and three TDs, including a 78-yarder to Kahirre Louis, in a 40-34 win over Cordova.

Mateo Mojica, Bradshaw Christian: Rushed seven times for 174 yards and three TDs and had 14 tackles in a 70-14 win over Galt.

Wayshawn Parker, Grant: Rushed 22 times for 204 yards and three TDs in a 35-34 loss to Monterey Trail.

Ethan Rickert, Bradshaw Christian: Passed for 240 yards and five TDs against Galt to help his coaching father Drew win his 150th game with the program.

AJ Rogers, Twelve Bridges: Had 11 tackles against Colfax to clinch the Pioneer Valley League championship.

Gabe Sanchez, Woodland Christian: Passed for 347 yards and four TDs and ran for one in a 50-0 win over Valley Christian.

D’Adrien Sanders, Monterey Trail: Rushed for 93 yards and two scores against Grant to win the Metro League.

Antonio Seastrunck, Esparto: Rushed 28 times for 232 yards and three TDs to beat Vacaville Christian.

Reeve Slone, Rocklin: Passed for 267 yards and two scores and rushed for three more in a 43-35 triple-overtime win at Granite Bay.

Kamarea Smith, Johnson: Passed for 233 yards and four TDs against Florin.

Tanner Smith, Woodcreek: Had 13 tackles and broke up three passes in a 55-10 win over Bella Vista.

Anthony Solorzano, Pleasant Grove: The fourth QB to play for the Eagles due to injury passed for 208 yards with a 57-yard TD to Nic Trillo in a 16-10 win over Davis.

Dennis Syders, Marysville: Had more than 300 yards of total offense and three TDs and had an interception on defense in a 30-22 win over Bella Vista.

Jayden Tinker, Union Mine: Rushed 32 times for 160 yards and a TD in a 21-14 win over Liberty Ranch.

Sebastian Valadez, Winters: Had 118 yards receiving with three TDs and three sacks in a 48-14 win over Durham.

Drew Vassar, Jesuit: Had eight tackles, four for loss, in a 28-8 Delta League-clinching win over Elk Grove.

Mason Vicari, Christian Brothers: Rushed for a 47-yard touchdown, the first for the lineman, and had six tackles in a 49-0 win over El Camino.

David Whitten, Antelope: Passed for three TDs and ran for one in a 42-12 win over River Valley.

Vontrelle Waffer, Monterey Trail: Rushed 20 times for 201 yards and two scores in a 35-34 win over Grant.

Zeke Wood, Twelve Bridges: Had 11 tackles against Colfax for a 9-0 season start.

Nathan Zeppieri, Bradshaw Christian: Had five catches for 87 yards and three TDs against Galt.
