Friday night’s scores for Sacramento-area high school football in CIF playoff quarterfinals

The high school football season is suddenly in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section semifinal rounds, 11 weeks of a regular-season blur now a sprint into the postseason.

In Del Paso Heights, the Grant Pacers hosted the Jesuit Marauders in a Division II quarterfinal. The Sacramento Bee was there.

In Folsom, the top-seeded Folsom Bulldogs took on a 10-1 team from Modesto. The Bee was there.

In Oak Park, the host Christian Brothers Falcons braced for the upstart Destiny Christian Lions, formerly the Capital Christian Cougars. The Bee was there.

In Placer County, old schools met as the host Roseville Tigers took on the Sacramento Dragons. The Bee was there.

The section championship games for Divisions I-VI will be held on Thanksgiving weekend at Sacramento City College’s Hughes Stadium with a triple-header on Nov. 22 and a triple-header on Nov. 23.
