Tim Tebow hits walk-off single to win Arizona Fall League game
Tim Tebow delivered the game-winning hit in the Scottsdale Scorpions 4-3 victory over the Mesa Solar Sox on Monday in an Arizona Fall League game.
It was an opposite field single with bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth.
Tebow, the star quarterback for the University of Florida quarterback and a former NFL player, is swinging for the minor league affiliate of the New York Mets.

Tebow gave credit to Reggie Jackson, the Hall of Famer whose reputation as Mr. October was built because of postseason homers. Jackson was in town talking to Yankees prospects on Tebow’s team, but he took some time to meet with Tebow as well.
