Giants’ World Series trophies tour kicks off Jan. 7 at Raley Field

The River Cats’ Triple-A affiliation with the Giants does have some perks for Giants fans in Sacramento.

The River Cats will host the first stop of the Giants’ two-month tour of their three World Series trophies on Jan. 7 at Raley Field.

The 2010, 2012 and 2014 World Series trophies will be on display in centerfield from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. for viewing and photos. The event is open to the public.

The other 33 stops include Jan. 13 in Vacaville (Ulatis Community Center, 4-6 p.m.), Feb. 11 in Lodi (Hutchins Street Square, 5-7 p.m.) and Feb. 12 in Stockton (Stockton Civis Auditorium, 5-7 p.m.).
