Pablo Sandoval has had a rough run since bolting San Francisco for Boston last season.
He hit .245 with 10 home runs and 47 RBIs in 126 games in 2015.
This spring, he was benched in favor of Travis Shaw. Sandoval got his first start of the season on Saturday and went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts. Perhaps most embarrassing, his belt popped loose during an at-bat. Sandoval has battled weight issues throughout his career, and showed up to spring training overweight this season.
