Player of the game: Omri Casspi had 26 points, nine rebounds and six assists as the Kings ended a three-game losing streak in their home finale.

Turning point: After Vander Blue’s three-pointer brought the Lakers within 89-88 with 4:28 to play, the Kings went on a 10-1 run and coasted to the win.

Key stats: The Kings shot 36 free throws, making 28. The Lakers attempted only 13 free throws, making eight.

X-factor: Derrick Williams scored a season-high 20 points off the Kings’ bench.

Records: Kings 28-53; Lakers 21-60

Injury update: Reggie Evans (sprained right thumb) sat out for the Kings, who have shut down DeMarcus Cousins, Rudy Gay and Darren Collison for the season. Wesley Johnson (sprained left ankle) joined six other Lakers sidelined by injuries.
