Rookie Nik Stauskas fell prey to a prank perpetrated by teammates Reggie Evans, DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay when the trio spilled popcorn throughout his home.

Captured on video and posted on the Kings Facebook page, the merry pranksters are shown dumping big bags of popcorn on the floor, in the rookie’s shoes and even in the freezer compartment of the fridge.

The veterans then pose triumphantly, proud that they have upheld the athletic tradition of pranking the rookie.

The video also includes Stauskas finding the mess. He laments the cleanup ahead, but congratulates the perpetrators of the good-natured popcorning, calling it “very well-played.”

“I guess that’s what you get when you are a rookie,” Stauskas said.
