Kings ask fans to send these four players to NBA All-Star Game; here’s how to vote
The Kings are asking for help from their fans after launching a campaign to send De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Harrison Barnes and Marvin Bagley III to the NBA All-Star Game in Chicago.
Fans can vote on Google.com by searching for players by name. Each search will count as one vote except on “2-for-1 days,” which will allow fans to have their votes count twice on Jan. 2, Jan. 3, Jan. 10, Jan. 16 and Jan. 20. Fans can also vote at vote.NBA.com and with the NBA App, which is available on Android and iOS.
Voting ends at 8:59 p.m. Jan. 20.
Hield leads the team in scoring. He has appeared in all 30 games, averaging 20.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists while shooting 35.8 percent from 3-point range.
Fox has appeared in 13 games this season, averaging 18.8 points, 6.7 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals. He missed 17 games with a grade-3 ankle sprain.
Barnes is averaging 15.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists. He has appeared in all 30 games, leading the team at 35.1 minutes per contest.
Bagley missed 22 games with a broken thumb. In eight games, he has averaged 13.1 points and 7.3 rebounds. He is unlikely to garner much consideration for the All-Star Game, but he could be a strong candidate for the Rising Stars games.
Four Kings participated in All-Star Weekend festivities last season. Fox, Hield, Bagley and Bogdan Bogdanovic all participated in the Rising Stars game for first- and second-year players. Hield reached the finals in the 3-point contest. Fox also competed in the Skills Challenge.
