Kings vs. Pelicans video: Fox says he played ‘better game,’ talks about mini-slump

Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox said he “felt better to play a better game” after scoring 19 points to help lead his team to a win over the New Orleans Pelicans, 112-99, on Wednesday night.

“It’s still a lot to go,” he said in post-game remarks, adding “it’s probably the worst stretch I’ve had in the league as far as putting the ball in the basket.”

Tyrese Haliburton scored 20 points and Harrison Barnes added 23 points and eight rebounds to help the Kings stop a two-game skid.

The video above shows Fox’s highlights and coach Luke Walton’s comments on his guard’s progress.
