Tyrese Haliburton doesn’t know how long it will take to change the losing culture that has pervaded the Kings organization for the past 15 years, but he is vowing to get the job done.

The Kings (18-31) will try to snap a four-game losing streak when they face the Atlanta Hawks (21-25) at State Farm Arena on Wednesday. The Kings are coming off an embarrassing 128-75 loss to the Boston Celtics on Tuesday in which the Celtics led by as many as 60, the largest lead they’ve ever held in the franchise’s storied 76-year history.

“I came into this, and coming to Sacramento, them taking a chance on me, I’m part of the organization,” Haliburton said following the loss to Boston. “I’m here to help us win. Obviously, the Kings haven’t won in the past – haven’t been in the playoffs in 15 years – but I refuse to let the culture of what the Kings have been in the past take over who I am as a person.”

The Kings have lost nine of 11 to fall 13 games under .500. They are 13th in the Western Conference, three games behind the Portland Trail Blazers for the final play-in spot.

“It’s obviously dark right now,” Haliburton said. “We’re not where we want to be, but there’s still a lot of season left and I’m a member of the Sacramento Kings, so I’m going to help fix this. I don’t know how long it’s going to take. It ain’t going to be in a day. It ain’t going to be in a month, but I’m going to be here and we’re going to make it work. I promise that.”

Injury updates

Kings guard Terence Davis has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Hawks due to right wrist soreness. Davis suffered the injury when he took a hard fall in Tuesday’s loss to the Celtics.

The Kings listed De’Aaron Fox (ankle) and Chimezie Metu (knee) as questionable. Fox has missed the past two games with an injury the team has described as left ankle soreness.

The Hawks are listing De’Andre Hunter (back) and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (illness) as questionable. Bogdan Bogdanovic (knee) is probable.
