Kings gameday live: De’Aaron Fox, Marvin Bagley III injury status vs. New York Knicks
Marvin Bagley III is not expected to play when the Kings visit the New York Knicks on Monday night at Madison Square Garden. De’Aaron Fox’s status remains in question as well.
Bagley has been ruled out with a left ankle sprain. Terence Davis is out indefinitely with tendon damage in his right wrist. Fox was listed as questionable on the team’s injury report Sunday after missing the past four games because of left ankle soreness.
The Kings (18-33) have lost six in a row and 11 of their last 13. They are 13th in the Western Conference, 3 ½ games behind the Portland Trail Blazers for the final play-in spot.
The Knicks (23-27) have lost three in a row and six of their last seven to fall to 12th in the Eastern Conference. They are 1 ½ games behind the Atlanta Hawks for the final play-in bid.
Nerlens Noel is experiencing left knee soreness, but he is listed as probable for the Knicks. Derrick Rose has been out since undergoing surgery on his right ankle in December.
Fox out again
Interim Kings coach Alvin Gentry said Fox will miss his fifth consecutive game due to the sore left ankle. Gentry said Fox is feeling better, but he is still experiencing soreness and remains day-to-day.
