De’Aaron Fox was a full participant in practice Monday as the Kings prepared to play the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night at Golden 1 Center.

Fox is listed as questionable after missing the past eight games with a sore left ankle, but teammate Tyrese Haliburton said he looked “like himself” in practice.

“De’Aaron was good,” Haliburton said. “I think he’s getting back into the flow of things, getting up and down, but it’s always fun when we get to share the court together, so just having fun with him back out there. We scrimmaged, so he was getting up and down, just in the course of the game, but he looked like himself, so I’m sure he’s getting closer to coming back.”

Interim Kings coach Alvin Gentry agreed that Fox appeared to be moving well. Gentry was asked about the possibility of Fox returning against the Timberwolves, who will be in Sacramento for a back-to-back set Tuesday and Wednesday.

“We’ll see,” Gentry said. “It’ll be a game-time decision, but he did practice today, so I think that’s a good thing. He went through the whole practice. … Obviously, you miss a few weeks and the timing and everything is still going to be a little bit off, but I thought he moved great from the standpoint of speed and all of that.”

Forward Marvin Bagley III is also listed as questionable for the Kings (20-35), who are two games behind the New Orleans Pelicans for the final play-in spot in the Western Conference. Bagley has missed the past four games with a sprained left ankle.

The Timberwolves (28-25) have won four in a row and eight of their last 11 to move up to seventh in the West, one game behind the Denver Nuggets for the No. 6 seed.

Patrick Beverly (ankle), Josh Okogie (quad), Taurean Prince (ankle), Naz Reid (knee) and D’Angelo Russell (shin) are all questionable for the Timberwolves.
