Domantas Sabonis is expected to return to the lineup when the Kings play host to the Chicago Bulls on Monday night at Golden 1 Center. Zach LaVine’s status is still in question.

Sabonis served a one-game suspension against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday and missed Saturday’s game against the Utah Jazz due to personal reasons. He was not listed on the team’s injury report Sunday, suggesting he will likely be available against the Bulls.

The Kings (24-45) have lost four in a row and nine of 11 to fall 4 ½ games behind the New Orleans Pelicans for the final play-in spot in the Western Conference. Justin Holiday is listed as questionable against the Bulls after leaving Saturday’s game with a non-COVID-19 illness. Alex Len is questionable due to back soreness.

The Bulls (41-26) are coming off back-to-back wins over the Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers after losing their previous five games to the Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, Atlanta Hawks, Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers.

LaVine is questionable against the Kings after missing Saturday’s 101-91 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers due to left knee soreness. Lonzo Ball is out with a meniscus tear in his left knee.

The Kings suffered a 125-118 loss to the Bulls on Feb. 16 in Chicago. DeMar DeRozan scored 38 points and Coby White added 31 for the Bulls. De’Aaron Fox scored 33 points for the Kings. Sabonis nearly posted a triple-double, finishing with 22 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists.

Lamb out

Kings guard Jeremy Lamb has been ruled out due to personal reasons. Lamb has appeared in seven games for the Kings since being acquired in a trade with the Indiana Pacers, averaging 8.9 points and 3.9 rebounds.
