Jordan Ford is coming home, or pretty darn close.

The Folsom High School graduate on Wednesday was acquired by the Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings. The point guard who starred at Saint Mary’s College during a record-setting career was picked up from the Ontario Clippers in exchange for the returning player rights to Sheldon Mac and a second-round pick in the 2023 G League Draft.

Ford played in 46 games with the G League Ontario Clippers the previous two seasons, averaging 11.2 points and 3.5 assists. He was a two-time Sacramento Bee Player of the Year at Folsom and a four-year All-Metro performer. He was The Bee’s Player of the Decade for the 2010s.

The 6-foot-1 Ford, known for his instincts and playmaking, started his final 68 games at Saint Mary’s from 2018-20, averaging 21.5 points, 2.9 rebounds 2.4 assists and 2.0 blocks. He is the only Saint Mary’s player to record two 700-point scoring seasons and his 1,929 career points are the second-most in program history.
