Research reveals price of parking, tickets, beer at every NBA arena. How do Kings compare?

Anyone who has attended an NBA game in recent years knows costs can add up quickly.

Researchers from Online Betting Guide have set out to determine average ticket prices, parking fees and even the cost of beer at every NBA arena.

Kings fans might be interested to know how costs at Golden 1 Center compare to the rest of the league. Ticket prices are relatively high in Sacramento, though not by California standards, while the cost of parking and beer is about average for an NBA arena.

The average cost of a ticket at Golden 1 Center is $87.97, according to the OLBG study. That ranks eighth among 30 NBA teams and fourth in a state that also features the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers.

The Kings rank 16th in the NBA with an average parking fee of $16.13. They are 17th in beer prices at 65 cents per ounce.

The New York Knicks have the most expensive tickets in the NBA with an average price of $186.23 at Madison Square Garden. They are followed by the Lakers ($143.67), Warriors ($139.49), Boston Celtics ($110.10), Chicago Bulls ($109.44), Houston Rockets ($109.43), Clippers ($93.01), Kings, Dallas Mavericks ($86.98) and Cleveland Cavaliers ($83.58).

The Knicks also have the most expensive parking in the league with an average cost of $42.70. The rest of the top 10 includes the Warriors ($39.38), Brooklyn Nets ($34.30), Celtics ($30.82), Miami Heat ($25), Portland Trail Blazers ($25), Lakers ($24.20), Clippers ($24.20), Washington Wizards ($21.40) and Cavaliers ($20).

If you want to have a beer during a Warriors game at Chase Center or a Celtics game at TD Garden, you’ll pay a whopping $1.08 per ounce. They are followed by the Denver Nuggets (92 cents), Knicks (86 cents), Nets (81 cents), Mavericks (75 cents), New Orleans Pelicans (75 cents), Milwaukee Bucks (72 cents), Heat (70 cents) and Blazers (69 cents).

The lowest ticket prices in the NBA belong to the Charlotte Hornets ($32.82), Memphis Grizzlies ($34.03), Minnesota Timberwolves ($41.45), Wizards ($41.84), Pelicans ($43.33), Indiana Pacers ($45.31), Detroit Pistons ($49.52), Atlanta Hawks ($53.54), Orlando Magic ($57.89) and Utah Jazz ($58.24).

The Timberwolves ($10), Jazz ($10), Oklahoma City Thunder ($10), Toronto Raptors ($10.43), Pelicans ($11.82), Rockets ($12.15), Hornets ($12.29), Bucks ($13.90), Pacers ($15), Magic ($15), Nuggets ($15) and San Antonio Spurs ($15) have best parking prices.

The Cavaliers have the best beer prices at 33 cents per ounce. They are followed by the Thunder (38 cents), Hawks (42 cents), Pistons (42 cents), Pacers (45 cents), Spurs (50 cents), Grizzlies (56 cents), Philadelphia 76ers (58 cents), Raptors (59 cents) and Magic (59 cents).
