The Kings will appear on national television when they play host to the Brooklyn Nets in a TNT game Tuesday night at Golden 1 Center. Kyrie Irving will not.

The Nets announced Monday that Irving will miss his seventh consecutive game as he continues to serve a team suspension for promoting an antisemitic documentary on his Twitter account.

The Kings (6-6) have won six of eight since going 0-4 to start the season. They’ve won three in a row against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors.

The Kings’ new purple victory beam lit up the night sky outside the arena with each of those wins. Guard Kevin Huerter referred to the Kings as the #BeamTeam on Instagram, a term that was trending on Twitter Monday after quickly catching on with fans.

The Nets (6-8) have gone 4-2 in Irving’s absence with 12-time All-Star Kevin Durant leading the way. Durant is averaging 30.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.3 assists.

The Nets listed Ben Simmons (left knee soreness) and Yuta Watanabe (lower back contusion) as questionable against the Kings. Nic Claxton (left eye contusion) and Seth Curry (left ankle injury management) are probable.

The TNT broadcast crew for Tuesday’s game will feature Brian Anderson, Stan Van Gundy and Jared Greenberg.

Update

The Nets have announced Simmons, Curry and Claxton will all be available for Tuesday’s game against the Kings.

Claxton is the team’s third-leading scorer (11.9 ppg) and top rebounder (9.1 rpg). Curry is averaging 9.8 points per game while shooting 40.7% from 3-point range. Simmons is averaging 5.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.9 assists.
