Kings guard Matthew Dellavedova is out indefinitely after breaking his finger in Wednesday’s victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Kings were preparing to wrap up a two-game set against the Blazers at Moda Center in Portland on Friday when the team provided an update on Dellavedova’s injury. The Kings said Dellavedova sustained a right index finger fracture during the fourth quarter Wednesday as Sacramento clinched its first playoff berth since 2006.

The team said treatment options are being considered. At this point, there is no timetable for Dellavedova’s return.

Dellavedova is a nine-year NBA veteran who is in his first season with the Kings after previous stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks. He has appeared in 479 games, posting career averages of 5.2 points, 1.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists.

Dellavedova has appeared in 32 games for the Kings this season, averaging 1.5 points and 1.3 assists in 6.7 minutes per contest. He has served as the team’s third point guard behind De’Aaron Fox and Davion Mitchell.

Dellavedova is one of the few players on Sacramento’s roster with playoff experience. He appeared in 52 playoff games for the Cavaliers and Bucks, averaging 5.4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists. He was part of an NBA championship team with the Cavaliers in 2016.
