Video: Watch De’Aaron Fox put up shots at practice despite fractured finger. Will he play?

Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox got up shots at practice on Tuesday, a video shows, a day after the team announced he had fractured his left index finger in a playoff game.

He later told reporters he plans to play in Wednesday’s critical Game 5 against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA playoffs, the Bee’s Jason Anderson reported.

“There’s no if, ands or buts … I’m playing,” Fox said.

Anderson said Fox was getting a feel for wearing a splint on his broken finger as he tested his shooting from close and three-point range.

The Sacramento Kings tweeted out: “No. 5 is a go for Game 5.”

Coach Mike Brown added some perspective to the decision on whether Fox plays.

“It’s a joint deal,” he said. “We all have to be on the same page with it, like how it has been all season.”
