See new Sacramento Kings uniforms for 2023-24 NBA season in video starring Sabonis, Fox

In a video playing off the team’s popular “Light the Beam!” slogan, Sacramento Kings stars Domantas Sabonis and De’Aaron Fox unveil three new uniforms that players will wear during the 2023-24 NBA season: Redesigned Nike Association, Icon and Statement Edition jerseys and shorts.

“We are excited to unveil a new collection of uniforms that salutes the team’s origins while celebrating the organization’s future,” Sacramento Kings President of Business Operations John Rinehart said in a news release Monday. “We believe our fans will appreciate the modernized Kings script and the return of the popular color scheme.”

The new uniforms go back to black being the primary color with purple as an accent. The uniforms utilize modernized Kings script wordmark, now a focal point of the Association and Icon jerseys.

The uniforms will be on display in the Grand Entrance of Golden 1 Center during the California Classic summer league.

The Statement Edition will be revealed on the second day of the event.

“Light the Beam!” was the Kings rallying call last season. When the team won a game, a purple laser beam was lit in the sky outside Golden 1 Center.
