Watch: G League Stockton Kings make SportsCenter Top 10 on ESPN with miracle buzzer-beater

Mason Jones and Skal Labissiere played for the Kings in the final minutes of Monday’s loss to the New York Knicks at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.

On Wednesday, they made an appearance on the ESPN SportsCenter Top 10 after making a miraculous play for the G League Stockton Kings in a 119-114 overtime loss to the Birmingham Squadron at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama.

Stockton, Sacramento’s NBA G League affiliate, was trailing Birmingham by three with Jones at the free-throw line with 1.6 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. Jones intentionally missed the free throw, grabbed his own rebound and fired a pass to Labissiere, who had popped out to the corner for a potential 3-point attempt.

Labissiere hit the shot at the buzzer to tie the game, sending it to overtime.

Labissiere finished with 23 points and seven rebounds for Stockton. Jones had 16 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.’

Jones has a two-way contract with the Kings. Labissiere is back with G League Stockton after signing a 10-day contract with Sacramento on March 3.
