Sacramento Kings player named MVP as Stockton wins G League championship

For the first time in franchise history, the Stockton Kings are NBA G League champions.

Dexter Dennis scored 23 points to lead Stockton to a 118-110 victory over the Osceola Magic in Game 3 of the G League Finals on Monday night at Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida.

Mason Jones, a two-way player with the Sacramento Kings, was named finals MVP. He produced 19 points and 13 assists before going down with an ankle injury in the fourth quarter. Jones averaged 22.3 points and 9.7 assists in the best-of-three series.

Terry Taylor had 22 points and 12 rebounds for Stockton. Isaac Jones had 21 points and 13 rebounds

Ethan Thompson scored 28 points to lead the Magic. Patrick Gardner put up 20 points and 14 rebounds. Javonte Smart also scored 20 points.
