Kings vs. Warriors: Curry, DeRozan injury news; NBA draft lottery update

Stephen Curry is likely to play while DeMar DeRozan’s status remains uncertain for Tuesday’s game between the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors at Chase Center in San Francisco.

The Kings (21-58) suffered a 138-109 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday after winning seven of their previous 14 games. They had the worst record in the NBA as recently as March 9 but are now tied with the Utah Jazz for the fourth-worst record in the league, reducing their odds in the NBA draft lottery.

The Kings are listing DeRozan as questionable due to right hamstring soreness. DeRozan passed Oscar Robertson for 16th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list before leaving Sunday’s game in the second quarter.

The Kings have ruled out Patrick Baldwin Jr. (G League), Drew Eubanks (thumb), De’Andre Hunter (eye), Zach LaVine (finger), Keegan Murray (ankle), Domantas Sabonis (knee), Isaiah Stevens (G League) and Russell Westbrook (toe).

The Warriors (36-42) have lost four in a row after falling 117-116 to the Houston Rockets on Sunday. They have clinched a spot in the play-in tournament despite posting a 7-16 record since the All-Star break.

Curry is back after missing 27 games due to right patellofemoral pain syndrome. Sunday’s game was Curry’s first since Jan. 30. He came off the bench to score 29 points in 26 minutes, going 11 of 21 from the field and 5 of 10 from 3-point range.

LJ Cryer (illness) is also listed as probable for Tuesday’s game. Kristaps Porzingis (knee) is questionable. Jimmy Butler III (ACL), Al Horford (calf), Moses Moody (patellar tendon), Quinten Post (foot) and Gui Santos (pelvis) are out.
