Sacramento Kings bring in six more NBA prospects for pre-draft workout

The Sacramento Kings brought in six more NBA prospects for their second pre-draft workout Tuesday at their Golden 1 Center practice facility.

The list of prospects included Arkansas forward Trevon Brazile, Cincinnati forward Baba Miller, Illinois point guard Kylan Boswell, Cal Baptist guard Dominique Daniels, Pacific forward Elias Ralph and Florida State forward Chauncey Wiggins. Miller was unable to participate due to illness.

Brazile, Miller and Boswell are projected as potential second-round draft picks. The others are trying to move up on draft boards.

Sacramento has one first-round pick and two second-round picks in the draft, which will be held June 23-24 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The Kings will make their selections at No. 7, No. 34 and No. 45.

Here’s a closer look at the players who were invited to Sacramento or Tuesday’s workout.

Trevon Brazile

School: Arkansas

Position: Power forward

Height: 6-10

Weight: 230

Age: 23

Brazile averaged 13.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.5 steals as a senior at Arkansas. He shot 52.5% from the field and 34.1% from 3-point range. Brazile is projected as the 33rd pick in NBADraft.net’s mock draft. NBADraftRoom.com has him at No. 36 and ESPN.com has him at No. 45.

Baba Miller

School: Cincinnati

Position: Power forward

Height: 6-11

Weight: 225

Age: 22

Miller averaged 13.0 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.2 blocks and 0.7 steals as a senior at Cincinnati. He shot 52.9% from the field but just 18.2% from 3-point range. Miller spent two years at Florida State and one at Florida Atlantic before transferring to Cincinnati. Miller is projected as the 39th pick by NBADraft.net, the 41st pick by ESPN.com and the 42nd pick by NBADraftRoom.com.

Kylan Boswell

School: Illinois

Position: Point guard

Height: 6-2

Weight: 205

Age: 21

Boswell averaged 12.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 0.7 steals while shooting 44.4% from the field and 30.7% from 3-point range as a senior at Illinois. He spent two years at Arizona before transferring to Illinois. ESPN.com has Boswell projected as the 58th pick in the draft.

Dominique Daniels

School: California Baptist

Position: Point guard

Height: 5-10

Weight: 185

Age: 22

Daniels averaged 23.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.0 steals as a senior at Cal Baptist. He shot 43.2% from the field and 33.3% from 3-point range.

Elias Ralph

School: Pacific

Position: Power forward

Height: 6-7

Weight: 212

Age: 22

Ralph averaged 16.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 blocks as a senior at Pacific. He shot 46.7% from the field and hit 40.9% from 3-point range on 4.2 attempts per game.

Chauncey Wiggins

School: Florida State

Position: Power forward

Height: 6-10

Weight: 225

Age: 23

Wiggins spent three years at Clemson before transferring to Florida State, where he played for former Kings assistant coach Luke Loucks. Wiggins averaged 13.3 points and 3.9 rebounds as a senior while shooting 47.9% from the field and 38.7% from 3-point range on 5.8 attempts per game.
