Tuesday’s Kings game against the New Orleans Pelicans
PELICANS (5-4) AT KINGS (6-4)
THE PARTICULARS
▪ Where: Sleep Train Arena
▪ Time: 7 p.m.
▪ TV/radio: CSNCA, NBA TV, 950, 1140
THREE KEYS
▪ 1. Lineup flexibility: New Orleans starts a big lineup but can mix it up with a bench that includes three-point-shooting power forward Ryan Anderson (Oak Ridge High School). The Kings must prepare for different looks and be able to adjust.
▪ 2. Dealing with Davis: The NBA world is gushing over Anthony Davis for good reason. He entered Monday averaging 24.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, 4.1 blocks and 2.3 steals. If he defends DeMarcus Cousins, the Kings must attack and try to get Davis in foul trouble.
▪ 3. Injury watch: Rudy Gay (right Achilles’ tendinitis) is questionable. Jason Thompson (left quadriceps tendinitis) is probable. Gay is off to a good start this season, and Thompson will have the first chance to defend Davis.
