Kings game plan against the Chicago Bulls
BULLS (8-3) AT KINGS (6-5)
THE PARTICULARS
▪ Where: Sleep Train Arena
▪ Time: 7:30 p.m.
▪ TV/radio: TNT, 1140
THREE KEYS
▪ 1. No lapses: If the Kings are able to build a big lead again, they need to continue to execute. They’ve led by at least 12 points in their last three losses and faltered for long stretches that allowed opponents back in the game.
▪ 2. Pass to score: The Bulls are a good defensive team that will make the Kings work on offense. If the Kings opt to dribble through the defense, Chicago will capitalize. Multiple passes for good shots are a must.
▪ 3. Defense for offense: Because the Bulls can be so tough with their halfcourt defense, the Kings need to maximize scoring chances by running off rebounds and forcing turnovers. The more fast-break points the Kings score, the better their chance of winning.
