Kings game plan vs. Detroit Pistons
KINGS (11-12)
VS. PISTONS (4-19)
THE PARTICULARS
Where: Sleep Train Arena
Time: 7 p.m.
TV/radio: CSNCA/NBA TV, 1140
THREE KEYS
1. Boxing out: Detroit center Andre Drummond is one of the best rebounders in the league. The Kings have to make sure to find him when shots go up and not allow him to dominate the glass with DeMarcus Cousins (viral meningitis) still out.
2. Point pressure: Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings has the ability to score in bunches. Starting with Darren Collison, the Kings cannot allow Jennings to become comfortable and find his offense.
3. Improved offense: The Kings don’t have problems scoring points, but they do have issues with execution. Turnovers, poor screens and an inability to get into good offensive sets have been problems late in the past two losses.
